Questions about URL Filtering and Internal recategorization.

Hello everybody,

I'm currently testing Astaro as a Web Proxy, using URL Filtering and Antivirus features.

I saw that I can set URL Whitelist, or URL Blacklist, but I cannot find something for internal recategorization. So I'm wondering if it's possible to do so.
For example, I want to create a new category, give access to some of my users (but not all), and populate it with custom URLs.

In the same way, I manage to create a new category but impossible to create a sub-category. And impossible to set directly custom URLs to a sub-category.

So my question : Is it possible to do so ?

No, it's not possible to modify sub-categories or add/remove individual URL's within them, but you can use separate proxy profiles, each with it's own white and black lists to achieve what you want. If you believe that a site is categorized incorrectly, you can check it's current status and submit a change request at TrustedSource - Check Single URL. Astaro uses the SmartFilter XL database. Once submitted, if approved by TrustedSource, it will be added to the database and your Astaro should pick up the change within 24 hours.
