8.101 av update and cpu usage

Hello Friends !

i am using local database ,when there are new av updates cpu usages goes to 100 % it remain at 100 % for around 30-45 seconds .is that ok ?
i have 1.7 gb ram on vmware vsphere 4.0.1
using dual av,ips,nat,firewall,mails/https proxy

how do i disable /deactivate local database

Basically, it's the same process and instructions as enabling, but you'll want to use:

cc set http sc_local_db none

or 100 % cpu usage may be becase of patter update for local database ?
as time stamp show on sfcontrol file for update

Hi utm_kid,
apologies for last night, things took longer than expected.

The CPU usage is really function of how much cpu you have assigned in your VM and what the other guests are doing at the time. From my observations, everytime you change a config or have a line failure the database reloads and sucks come cpu power as well as network capacity.
You need to assign more cpu to your asg guest.
