I have an ASG220 V8 with a WEB security license connecting to Windows 2003 server running AD
There seems to be a few issues that I can’t seem to get resolved.
First off I have a couple of profiles running with user groups that is pulled from the AD server using SSO
But on specific users is not getting assigned the same rights as the rest of the people in his group
I have checked that he is correctly assigned on the AD server and I even checked that the Astaro is picking him up in the correct group (using his username and password)
But the profiles seems to not pick him up
And then I have a second issue
There seems to be a bit of an issue that occasionally communication to the AD server is not available
The AD auth then stops working completely on the Astaro to the point where I manually have to go and reconnect the AD SSO by re inserting the username and password to get it to work
It keeps giving this when it loses connection
httpproxy[3892]: id="0003" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" request="0xe65bfe80" function="auth_adir_auth_crap_callback" file="auth_adir.c" line="887" message="Authorization denied (NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED)
Which tells me that it can’t authenticate the users but why doesn’t the Astaro re establish communication automatically if the AD server is unavailable for a short while?
