Safari 5 "download not found"

Hi All,

I've been having a problem that is just really annoying. For some reason whenever I download files using Safari 5 and it goes to the passthrough downloader the file appears to download correctly and scans but then when the click to save page comes up when you click the button it takes you to a page saying that the download isn't found. 

This doesn't happen with any other browser only safari 5. I haven't seen anything on the forum suggesting there is an issue with safari as I guess it can't be wide spread as otherwise there would be more complaining!

Safari Version 5.0.2 (6533.18.5)
ASG 110  fw8.002 / pattern 20601

Thanks for any help, It is really annoying having to switch to firefox to download some things! Let me know if you need any more info.

    Hi, Stevyd, and welcome to the User BB!

    I think that most folks here use FireFox and IE, so you might indeed have uncovered something with Safari. However, something in the last line from the log caught my eye...

    This is an indication that the issue might be resolved by adding anti-virus checking to the exception you already have for last.fm.

    The other question I have relates to FireFox - is it also pointed at the Astaro HTTP/S Proxy, or is it accessing the web directly via a packet filter rule?  It may be that you need to change the settings in Safari to avoid the proxy altogether for last.fm.

    its not just a problem with lastfm it is every single download [:(] creating exceptions would be a pain.

    Both FF and safari go through the HTTP/S proxy. It is setup as a transparent profile mode however. 

    I thought about just removing AV scanning altogether but even though I'm on a mac I'd still like the layer of security it provides in the hope that when mac viruses become big the firewall "may" block them [:)]

    I believe it started with safari 5 but not quite sure if I moved to v8 after upgrading to safari 4 or not as it certainly used to work perfectly but I've changed astaro boxes 3 times in the last 6 months or so.

    On the 'Advanced' tab, do you have 'Bypass content scanning for streaming content' selected?
