Configure FTP
blumdiet
I am already new in using ASG220 and would like to know, how to configure the Astaro to have access from outside to a ftp-server behind the firewall.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, blumdiet, and welcome to the User BB!
The search routine here isn't very effective, so I use google: site:astaro.org ftp server dnat
One of the first few items will have a title like "FTP Server Help" and that will give you the answer you're looking for.

Bob,
Thanks for your answer.
I have done as you told me but I still cannot get external access to my internal ftp-Server.
I set up:
1. Network - Interfaces
Name: FTP Port
type: ETHERNET Standard
Hardware: eth3
Address: 213.33.84.156
Standard GW Address: 213.33.84.153
2. Definitions - Networks
Name: FTP Server
Type: Host
Address: 172.16.20.4 (internal FTP-Server Address)
Interface: FTP Port
3. Network Security - NAT - DNAT/SNAT
Name: FTP NAT
Source: ANY
Service: FTP
Destination: FTP Port
Mode: DNAT
Destination: FTP Server
Automatic Packet Filter X (on)
Thanks for your help.
