Enduser Portal question

Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding the user portal of the ASG.

1.) Users can edit a spam whitelist. Is this whitelist per user or are the entries users put in here global (for all users)?

2.) Same thing for the SMTP Log and SMTP quarantaine. As it seems, users can view the global quarantaine, it's not limited to their user account. Can I do something about that?

    Hi Sascha,
     The enduser Portal is completly user based, this means it is his personal whitelist, his quarantine and his Smtp log.

    The next question is, how does the portal know which email belongs to which user?

    Each user account on the Astaro has email adresses/aliases as an attribut that you can/must fill out.
    These addresses are used to select the relevant quarantine emails and log lines.
    For POP3 each user needs to configure his pop3 user credentials in the endused portal so it k OAS which pop3 account belongs to this user.

    As managing all user settings and email adresses takes a lot of time, the Astaro has a user synchronization function that imports all user settings including email adresses from active directory and eDirectory. The sync mechanism works continuously, that means you only need to add delete or modify users on your directory.
