HTTP-Proxy requested content is not allowed but no Filteractions

Hey guys,

i think i found a bug.

I adjust yesterday the HTTP/S Profiles. The 'Network' for the HTTP-Proxy is registered in the 'allowed Networks'-field.

In the 'HTTP/S-Profiles' I used the operation mode --> standard mode

When I registered the Proxy-IP in my Browser I allways get this Error:


An error occurred while handling your request  

While trying to retrieve the URL:  XYZ.com
Error message:  The requested content is not allowed


I get this Error all the time even I set no Filter actions. I don't know what I do wrong.

BUT if i used another operation mode, like basic user authentification or transparent with user authentification everything works fine. The other user operation modes doesn't work and the full transparent mode, too.

If you need more Information about my configurations you have to tell me that.

    What ASG version are you using?

    Can you post the relevant lines from the http.log file? Can you make sure that you didn't add something like 'text/html' to the mime content filter?

    Could you describe the profiles that you are using a bit more?

    I don't use any mime content filter. I said, if i use the operation mode basic user authentification or transparent with user authentification, everything works fine!

    Well, i use one profile for testing.

    Websecurity -- HTTP/S Profiles --> Proxy-Profiles --> New Proxy Profile --> Name: XYZ --> Position 1 ---> Source Netzworks: my client IP --> Filter Assigments --> my filter --> Fallback acion --> default content filter block action --> operation mode: standard mode --> Scan HTTPS (SSL) traffic: no  --> comment: what ever... --> save


    Websecurity -- HTTP/S Profiles --> Filter Assignments --> New Filter Assignment --> Name: XYZ --> User --> my User --> Time Event: Always --> Filter Action: my Filter --> comment: what ever... --> save

    Websecurity -- HTTP/S Profiles --> Filter Actions --> New Filter Action --> Name: my Filter -_> mode: allow by default --> Treshold: off --> Block Spyware Communication: YES --> Block these website categories: only my filter --> Content Removal: NO --> Use Antivirus scanning: YES DUAL SCAN --> MAX scanning size (MB) 50 --> Write HTTP Access Log: NO --> Write HTTP Block Log: YES --> Save



    When I write this text I noticed that the 'Default content filter block action' blocked everything. I adjust the Fallback action also to 'my Filter' and it works well.
