I have my own solution to this..I'm switching to Untangle. I'll watch here to see what v9 brings.
I appreciate your passion william but come on Untangle[:P] Maybe when they come up with v9 of untangle it will not be so clunky[:D] And don't even get me started on that java console...
As far as the local cache, I hope they have a enable and disable feature for that. If they continue on this path of hardware upgrade with every version, my astaro box at home will be more powerful than my workstation[:P]
