(V8.001) no zip file scanning?

hello,

i have the v8.001 software and i was wondering is there no zip file scanning in proxy?
i test it with the eicar file but in zip it was not detectet?

in v7 he found the test virus in zip

    i have some more strange think.
    i have the old asg 110/120 with v8 and 3 interfaces.
    my 3 interface is the admin interface because use wlan with the fritzbox as a AP.

    when i use the admin interface with webproxy on there is no scanning i can normaly download the eicar.com?

    how can this be?

    when i look into the proxy log i get this message

    2010:08:21-18:23:55 asg httpproxy[4481]: id="0003" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" request="0xa27c8ec0" function="avira_scan" file="avirascanner.c" line="380" message="failed to get scanner instance" 

    what does it mean?

    now it works after second reboot.

    I was testing 8.001 VM with eicar.org in preparation for rollout.

    My problem was that the all four of th eicar files were allowed through the proxy until I started doing dual scan scanning.  Then two the of files were blocked, but what was bothersome was the .com file was not blocked even though I have extension blocking turned on.  

    I could see firefox was caching the eicar.com file because I was not getting any log entry for successful downloads in the http.log file.  I cleared out firefox's cache and rebooted now all the eicar files are being blocked.

    Strange.
