Transparent With Authentication log out?

I am attempting to implement Transparent With Authentication for our labs. However, it seems that even when a user logs out of the computer (macintosh 10.6) the next user that logs in is using the pervious user's credentials for accessing the web. Is it possible to have it so that after each log out when the next user logs in they are required to authenticate? If the machine is rebooted then it is fine, though and the next user must log in again. Needless to say I can not have each user restart the machine when they are done.

Thank you,
Ben

  • I can't really use the SSO option

If you don't have Active Directory, how about just using "Basic User authentication" instead?  With the new Wpad option, it's not that difficult to put your transparent mode skiplist into each browser.  Doing that would eliminate the need for people to log back in every 15 minutes.  Maybe you could share your concerns?
