V8 Anomalies?

Hi, Its been about 3 weeks that we upgraded our AG525 to V8. Since than Astaro shutdown with an unknown reason one time. Today it became completely unresponsive; the lcd were showing %90 load, web interface not responding, no internet, no networking at all, cant even ping to one server to another. It return to normal after a hard reset (unplug power) then in about 1 hour it freezed again. After two more hard resets it became stable again.

It also emails me about some software anomalies a few times in a week. Sometimes 1-2 times in a day;

               Http proxy not running - restarted
               Snort not running - restarted etc

Well, I wanted to ask if anyone on V8 has stability problems, before go back to V7.5

    That's not unusual, but it might indicate that something is chewing up CPU cycles.  What happens if you disable Intrusion Prevention?  If that really drops your CPU usage, then maybe there's a configuration error that causes more problems in V8 than in V7.

    Can you see from the Executive Report graphs how quickly the unit froze?

    The problem is, its not always the same. It only happened twice since we upgraded to v8. Normally its varies %6 to %20 never reaches %30. And today I really had to make the network alive ASAP so could'nt dig what was the problem much. I searched my mail inbox and there is no "foobar is not running -restarted" mails from astaro from the V7. Since all I did was installing V8 ssi to the asg525 and importing last v7 backup.

    Tonight I will install the 8.001 upgrade, keep V8 running one more week and try to catch what is exacly wrong.

    I received 18 emails with message "Http proxy not running - restarted". ASG v8.001 with imported v7.506 configuration. System load - from 0.06 to 1.30

    I can confirm this, I am also getting 6-7 "Http proxy not running - restarted" in a day. I also get same messages for snort but not that frequently. I also have a low system load. I hove somebody can figure out the cause of this. It realy feels uncomfortible, unstable to get this kind of errors.

    UPDATE:

    I am running V8.001 with IPS disabled for about 7-8 days now. And there is no freeze, "foobar not running, restarted"  errors. So it seems I found the cause of the problems but what should I do now? How can I find why IPS causing problems and how can I fix it?

    some ideas:

    -check /var/storage/cores for coredumps
    -check the relevant log files in /var/log.
    -if you are a commercial user, contact support.
