Enabling the HTTP proxy to block and allow traffic

First round of questions:
 
1) Have you added your internal network to the list of allowed networks in the HTTP proxy?
 
2) What Operation mode is the proxy in? Modes other than transparent require that the browsers on client systems have your Astaro set as the proxy on port 8080.
 

all most i have blocked all the uncategorized

 
 
3) Are you saying that you have blocked everything except uncatagorized or that your only blocking uncategorized content?
 
4) Did you read the HTTP proxy section in the manual, look in the knowledgebase for relevent articles (https://support.astaro.com/support/index.php/Category:Web_Security), and watch the short tutorial videos on the HTTP proxy (Astaro Videos)?

Ans : yes I have added.

Ans : oPERATIONAL mode is transparant

3) Are you saying that you have blocked everything except uncatagorized or that your only blocking uncategorized content?

All of that appears to be fine.  
 
Let's try this:  In WebAdmin, go to Web Security>HTTP/S>URL Filtering Tab.  In the section marked Additional URLs/sites to block, add a URL, then click on apply.  Now try to browse to that site and you should get a block page.  This will at least let us know that at least part of the proxy is working.
 
Do you see anything in the Content Filter (HTTP/S) log as your people are browsing?
