HTTPS scanning

Ok, I must be missing something. I was tasting out HTTPS scanning on V8, and aI imported the certificate to my local browser. 

Most things work fine; GMail, etc.

However, Windows Updates do not work, nor do Microsoft Security Essentials definition updates.

Searching the forum, I saw someone refer to importing the certificate to the OS (not browser), but I wasn't 100% sure what they meant. I'm running Windows 7.

Anyone run across this?

    You need to run mmc.exe.  File>Add/Remove Snap-in>Add Certificates>Choose This snap-in will always manage certificates for Computer Account and then Local Computer>Click OK.  Import the certificate to the Trusted Root ... folder.  If your using Active Directory, you can use Group Policy to import the certificate for all of your systems at once.
