I have been using Astaro for URL filtering, is there any category which allows me to block the sites facilitating uploads eg. yousendit, sendspace, rapidshare etc.
The P2P/File Sharing and Personal Network Storage subcategories should do what you want for many of the sites. If you find others that aren't covered, you can go to TrustedSource - Customer URL Ticketing System (choose McAfee Smartfilter XL as the database) and submit a category change/addition. If approved by the TrustedSource folks, they will make the change in the database. Normally takes anywhere from 4 to 24 hours for the changes to make their way to your Astaro.
