Proxy exceptions

Heres the problem. We want to block https://mail.google.com but we want to allow https://mail.google.com/a/gpi.us

I have tried whitelists, blacklists. I have tried turning on SSL scanning.

Lastly I added a proxy exception under the exceptions tab to allow https://mail.google.com/a/gpi.us, and still the proxy blocks access.

The logs only show Block, "mail.google.com". It would seem the proxy is incapable of enumerating beyond the .com portion of a url.

We have two Astaro Proxies. Version 7.503 works just fine. 

7.504 and above does not work. 

Please Advise.

    In the mean time, as a work around, couldn't you block the IP for that site on port 80, but allow it on port 443? This would require two rules at the top of your packet filter... and would be extra work, but would get the job done I think. At least until they get it fixed. 

    Just a thought.
