ASG 7.504 | Proxy Profiles

Hi there

I try to configure the following scenario:

80% of my users authenticate with active directory
20% of my users should be able to authenticate by normal password

(i want to be able to go to the internet even if the user is not in the correct AD group... for support in most cases)

all users are within the same networks. is it possible, to configure the proxy like this: auth by AD if possible... if not, ask for password.

i believe this is only possible with different networks to choose the correct profile (auth by AD or auth by password). 

maybe someone got a hint for me ? [:)]

    Thank you for your answer. Those users are known to AD but they dont have internet access. if i have to support such a user/machine, i always have to log off with the users account and log on with my account.... in this case it would be nice to have the option to enter a password for going to the internet instead of logging off/on all the time.

    it seems like i have to give this machines permanent ip-addresses to get this working.
