I am having an issue with getting Smart-Cards to authenticate past our firewall.
Just to give you an overview of our configuration:
We have 3 different proxy profiles to allow users to access specific webites (or prevent access) at different times during the day.
The end user has the proxy setting enabled within their browser and the Firewall pulls across the user details via AD.
So, the smartcard needs to access a specific IP address via a range of ports; which have been created and added as a Packet Filter.
Now, if I remove the proxy settings from my browser the smart-card authenticates without any issue.
IF the proxy settings are enabled the HTTP Proxy profiles kick in and stop it from working - even if I add the IP address to the exception lists.
Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong and how to correct this?
