block download from specif site(s)

I want to allow access to car insurance credit card application at whatever.com, but do not want to allow exe, msi, or other file downloads.

What is the proper syntax I tried *.whatever.*/*.exe, but that does not seem to work.

We do not want to block all downloads.

Can you show us the lines from the 'Content Filter (HTTPS)' log from when your expression "doesn't work?"

When you say you don't want to block all downloads, do you mean that you want to allow exe, msi, etc. from all other sites?

I do not have anything from the log, but wanted to know the proper way to do it.

That is correct, I want to block certain site downloads, exe ,msi .... and not from all others.

You said, "I tried *.whatever.*/*.exe, but that does not seem to work." When you tried that, there should have been something in the log showing that something was not blocked - seeing that might help.
