http Proxy, SSO Problem, non domain clients

Hi,

we are running Firmware-Version:  7.504 (Server 2008 R2 Domain)

After we enabled SSO i am not able to login at the proxy from a non domain client...

With Domain Clients everything works fine....

I found this in the proxy log

2010:04:12-17:18:20 ******X-1 httpproxy[11885]: [ 0x8f45180] auth_adir_auth_crap_callback (auth_adir.c:875) Authorization denied (NT_STATUS_PIPE_DISCONNECTED)

i tried every syntax for Authentication like:

domain\Administrator etc..


Are there any known problems like this with sso and non domain clients? (Using IE 6 from a win2k3)

it seems like ie 8 doesn't have this problem... after i applied all win updates incl. ie 8 on the server the authentication with Domain\Administrator works fine

 i will try to verify this on a fresh win xp SP 3 Client..

    Hi there,

    i tried this with a fresh installed win xp sp 3.

    With a non updated installtion same issue with the win2k3 server.

    A Authentication doesn't work...

    After i applied all windows updates inkl. ie 8 everything works fine..

    I don't know, if the ie 6 caused this problem... or which windows update solved this..

    Would be interesting to know ..

    today i had to log on to my pc (win7, IE8) as the local admin...

    And what happend:

    2010:04:15-12:27:59 ********-1 httpproxy[11885]: [0xb0e9b560] auth_adir_auth_crap_callback (auth_adir.c:875) Authorization denied (NT_STATUS_PIPE_DISCONNECTED) 

    again [:S]

    This Client is a Domain Member and works great if i am logged in as a domain user.. as local admin the proxy login box is prompted but i am not able to login..

    Any Ideas?
