Http Target Service - can't add

Hi,

Got ASL 7.502

Trying to add a target service to browse to. Have done this before without problem now when adding a new definition to the allowed target part of web security get - 'One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect.'

Would not be so bad if it told me which one!

A look in log files, specifically confd.log gives -

"INCOMPATIBLE_DATA (conflicting data types for specified node)" client="index.plx" facility="webadmin" user="bryanc" srcip="192.9.205.21" value="REF_DefaultHTTPCFFBlockAction" external="set" nodelist="http->defaultblockaction" datatype="REF"

Have restarted web proxy and plan to restart box tomorrow morning - any ideas before I do??

Thanks
Bryan

  • I wonder if one of those service definitions is "broken" - that it got changed somewhere, and now it's inconsistent with other Proxy settings?  If that's the case, then it was a bug to let you make the change somewhere else.

    Can you double-click each one to open an edit, then Save?  Then Apply?

    Cheers - Bob
