Blocking SW Update site, with little in the logs to T/S

I use Microlite Backup Edge SW on our linux servers, and since installing the Astaro 7.502 unit, it blocks this applications' update service.  Here is the relevant entry that is logged, but it doesn't tell me much....

    are you using https scanning?
    yes I did.  Turning off https it works....[:)]

    As a matter of fact, turning off https all my updater service work (dyndns updater, itunes, sony, etc...).  Can I make some kind of exception so that these updater services would work without losing the capability to do https scanning?
