Hi all, has anyone had experience with breaking a cluster ?
I want to break the cluster so but keep one of the ASG's working.  Then I'm going to backrev the off-line one to 7.4xx to see if I can get a stable system.

Once on 7.4xx I'll put this one on test to make sure it works ok.

What I am not sure of, is if I break the cluster, will the master carry on working without any configuration although I would assume a few minutes downtime.

    You can shutdown the Slave from WebAdmin, then disconnect all of the ethernet cables to it.  No downtime whatsoever.  If you're runnng Mail Security, you'll need to do a little planning.

    Some people have misinterpreted the effect of the new, more-powerful IPS ruleset to be bugginess.  Perhaps we can solve your issue without revving back to 7.4 - what seems unstable?  What proxies are you running?
