[solved]Big Problems

Hi since 7.500 we have had problems, the big 3 are
** Proxy restarting a few times a day, resulting in lost work (webaccess emails) and very angry users.
** HTTPS sites a right pain as they always seem to crash when users want to pay for something.
** Clicking a link sometimes does not display the page, just rubbish and you need to refresh the page.

We have had a few calls open but problems are always going to be fixed with the next patch...yawn....now we were promised these fixed in 7.503 but it seems from the patch notes that only a license bugfix is fixed.

Is anyone else having these issues, if so how is your business dealing with it, we are probably going to have to ditch the astaro's now and look for something else unless we can backrev to 7.4xx

We have 2 clustered WSG v7 box's running 7.502.

    I agree on proxy restarting, resulting in proxy server unavailable messages.   Try reducing the update2date configuration to daily updates.

    We don't proxy https.  It was problematic.

    The update that was scheduled to be called 7.503 is still on track, and has not been delayed at all. A quick update was needed to help with an issue regarding Astaro's new license model. The original 7.503 has been re-numbered to be 7.504, and should still be out in soft-release by the end of the month. Any updates you are waiting on, have not been delayed.

    Regarding the proxy restarts, there is an update in 7.504 to address that, but a silent change was also made to the pattern up2date system about a week ago, which should also address the restart issue.  gas011, if you're still having the same restarts today, dm me your info, and I'll have someone investigate.
