CPU spiking after Web Filtering enabled

We just re-enabled web filtering after it had been disabled for a few months (no one remembers why) and since doing so our Astaro ASG320 (firm. ver. 7.405) has been experiencing CPU utilization spikes to 100% every 10-15 minutes or so for spans of several minutes. RAM usage climbs up to around 90% during these times as well. Traffic rates on the interface are low(

    Curiously, this behaviour seems to continue after the Web Filtering has been disabled again. Nothing else has changed in the environment and there is no unusual traffic.
