Prompted for Authentication Streaming Site

ASG 7.502

SSO for Web Security with Active Directory.
User desktops set proxy as 172.16.1.1:8083

We block streaming content for all users minus "the chosen few".

Most streaming sites for these users (XM/Pando etc..) work fine. One site keeps prompting the user to enter username and password to 172.16.1.1 (obviously my proxy address) but the login dialog is clearly not Astaro or Windows generated.

A/V is set to bypass scanning for streaming content, but the user doesn't even get that far.

Any thoughts on what/why this is happening?

  • Only Windows Internet Explorer is certified to work with AD-SSO.  I don't think IE8 is yet certified, but I may be wrong about that.
