Alright so I am a home user and by no means a network professional. Now, I am not asking for the answer to my problem, just, if someone could point me in the right direction, I am trying to learn here [:)]
So, the problem happens when I am using the web proxy. I think it has something to do with sites redirecting, but I have toggled just about everything in the web proxy settings.
With some sites I get an "mmap: Invalid argument" message instead of the site.
Now, some sites only do this on there main page. As an example, and I hate to use this URL, but it is so far the only perfect example I have of having this problem isolated.
If I where to go to
"http://www.ipfire.org"
directly, while using the proxy, I would get the error
BUT if I got to another page on that same site, say
"www.ipfire.org/.../index"
The main page loads up just fine.
That is why I think it has something to do with redirection on the site and how that is being handled by the ASG.
And again, I am only using that site above because it so clearly shows the problem, other sites tend to have it happening when using some kinds of dynamic content and are far less straight forward examples.
So I have already searched google and the forms and have yet to come up with much that is usefull, mb I am just using the wrong search teams, IDK.
But if somebody could help point me in the right direction that would be amazing, I feel like I have hit a brick wall in my research, and that is frustrating because I am sure it is something really simple I am doing wrong with how I have things setup. So I am not looking for the answer just straight out because I really do want to learn from this. Yes, normally I would rely on google and a search of the astraro forms to do that but I have not found those helpful (I really hope I am not missing something too obvious)
