Just had a strange thing happening.
SSO - setup toward a Netware/eDirectory cluster as the source for SSO.
- Authentication / Server -> Cluster IP : 636
This have worked well until the certificates on the server expired and had to be renewed. This off course is NOT a bug.
But,, what I did to make this transparent to the users was to add
another server in;
- Authentication / Server -> 1 physical-server/IP : 636
- pressed "test" = OK,
Then,, here's the bug;
on the next page;
- Single Sign On
Here the first server is still selected, so I instead select the newly added server and press apply. = OK
But,, switch screen and go back, then the previous server is still selected and the change is NOT saved.
This happens regardless of which server is top/bottom in the
- Authentication / Server -> list
Next page, same error;
"Prefetch edirectory users"
In the drop down menu, I can choose any of the servers I created,
but, it's ONLY the initial server that can be choosen.
If I try to choose the other server as source for prefetch, then intervall, groups, etc gets blank, and the server selection also gets blank again.
So,, the way I see it; you can define more than one source as edir-server in the "servers" page. But, it's useless since you can NOT direct either SSO or prefetch to any other server than the one you initially created.
My workaround was to simply delete the initially specified cluster/IP-server, and then only have the newly added server as a source.
By that, then both SSO and prefetch could be pointed towards that one.
So,,, not anything urgent since a work-around was made,
though,, design-wize...??,, should be fixed I think....
