Can't connect with any Instant Messengers

Release 7.500
IM Control Status: ON
All Protocols on "Block Completely"

I added my local IP in the exceptions list to skip all the protocols.

What each messenger does:
Connects, then 10-20 seconds later, disconnects.

This originally worked before, but with latest release, I'm coming accross this issue. Any suggestions?

Hi,
what packet filter rules do you have in place?

Messenger on my network does various things, on my vista 64 and W7 64 boxes connects without a problem on another box with XP pro SP 3 sometimes.

Most of the issues are to do with digital certificates, once you get them sorted out messenger works okay.

My packet filter rule is currently set for my local ip > any > any.

Fixed! Updated manually to version 7.501 and this seems to correct the issues. All messengers working fine now.
