Hi, we have the AWG4000 and we have eth2 set up on our guest network, so that people can connect to our public wifi to get Internet access when they are on site but not part of our domain. This connects to a Cisco ASA firewall, and every once in a while (2 times last week, 2 times this week so far) the eth2 interface will just stop filtering web traffic. You can ping from the Astaro to the ASA, and from the ASA to the Astaro, but web traffic does not flow. In the web administration console, the interface shows as [UP].
Disabling and re-enabling the eth2 interface starts things going again.
Tech support is not sure what to make of it. Has anyone else had this issue, or seen anything like it? Since there is no warning or error message, we only find out it has happened when enough users call the helpdesk angry that they can't surf.
Thanks,
Gary
