IM Logging - Where?

Hi,

We're looking to enable IM at work but we're only happy to if we log traffic in the same way we do email, web, etc.

I see there is an option to log IM traffic - but where does it log to??  [:S]

I've had a look in the IM Flow Classifier log but the conversations are not in there.

Sorry if this has been asked before - but as you can imagine, searching for IM log throws up many results!!!

Any help appreciated.

    Hi, I've heard back from support, this was their response:


    The control options for the IM section are only log or block.  These both only
    log the connection attempt, not any of the content within the connection.

    As such the IM/P2P classifier log will show just the IP address and time of
    the connection.
