Setting up so can download from ftp's

I cannot download updates from ftp clients for netgear or dell using firefox. I am not sure what I am missing when I have recently setup ASG.

I have tried looking through previous posts and unfortunately cannot find an answer. I also looked on the kb and didn't have any luck there.

I have the HTTP Proxy status enabled and setup in transparent mode. 

In definitions>services I have ftp setup with TCP and destination port 20.
Is there anything I am missing or is there any more information required to enable people to help me?

    Damien, please note version numbers for Astaro and Firefox.  Do you have FTP proxy enabled?

    Please look in the 'Packet Filter' log to see if there are any blocks.  Also, look in the 'Content Filter (HTTP)' log for blocks.

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Bob.
    I think my main problem is not having the FTP proxy enabled?
    My Astaro Version is 7.405 and Firefox version is 3.5.2
    Should I setup the FTP proxy before even looking at the logs that you suggested?
    If so I am a little unsure of how to fill out the required fields for the FTP proxy "allowed networks".
    Could I possibly ask for some help on this?
    Type - Network?
    Address - ?
    Interface?
