By default, I have SSL scanning turned on. Most of the time I want this to be the case.
I logged in this morning as c68, which does SSL scanning. (Proxy) Later in the day, I wanted to run the Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) to test it with Astaro. I received an error from PSI - unable to verify cert. (I have "my" cert installed, and all other SSL scanning is working without issue.) I created a new proxy profile called "PSI" for the Secunia tool, that skips SSL scanning. I tested this on a machine where I had not logged into yet today. First, without logging in, I received the same failure message. Then I logged into the proxy as PSI, and tested again. This time it worked without issue. Problem is, 99% of the time I want to surf with my c68 proxy profile. If I log in as PSI, I would have no SSL scanning until the log in expired and I logged back in as c68. I do not want to set the log in expiration very short, because I do not want to be bugged all day long by being ask to log in over and over.
So... How, other then letting the log in expire, do I log out of the proxy and in as a different user?
Thanks,
C68
