CNN Live via Proxy

Hi All,

I used to be able to get everything to work because of the 

LAN -> WAN = MASQ / NAT
LAN -> ANY = Allow
Turn on HTTP Proxy and anything that needs other network access will work.

Recently I decided I want to control what leaves the network thus no more
LAN -> ANY = Allow ( Removed)

So far, Youtube etc and even those CNN Videos is fine, just slower.

The strange thing is I can never get this CNN Live to work.

The "plug in" is this Octoshape Net.

I did a right click, I see those settings such as i.tuner.cnn.com or octoshape.net

I put thise to Exceptions and checking eventhing.

Still can't get it to work.

I tried to look at packet filter logs, tons of suspicious state etc, just grey, not red.

Any idea how to get it to work without doing the LAN -> ANY Allow?

netstat on a client and really tooo much IP and not always the same.

It does not resolve to such as server1.octoshape.net etc whereby I can simply add ANY.octoshaape.net to allow etc.

    I can't even get cnn.com to work nevermind cnn live!

    I have a look at HTTP Log, those blocked is due to advertisements, even if I turn off blocking, it does not work too so it is not due to content filter.

    I think the problem is CNN Live ( not the videos but specifically the live) uses Octoshape which is a P2P thus simply won't work when I lock down my out going traffic.

    If anyone controls their Outgoing traffic and can get CNN Live to work, do share with us.

    Hope as more and more companies report to them they will change it.

    Don't think I want to do a LAN -> ANY Allow.
