Version 7.403
While trying to figure out a way to block objectionalble content from the family Wii, the HTTP proxy crashed...I think.
Popup windows contained the following messages.
Here is what it did:
Web Security:
Global Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 1789.
undefined (top left coner under tab)
AV Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 1954.
Content Filter Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 2141.
A factory reset cured the problem (so far...)
I tried to create a HTTP profile for the Wii device that would only block specific objectionable content. But I could no longer access the internet with the Wii afterwards. I deleted the item that I had created. When I returned to the Global tab I was met with the messages listed above. Did I move too fast when creating and deleting the items?
What caused to error?
Has anyone figured out a way to allow a Wii to have intenet access while blocking objectionable content?
Thanks,
Jim
