Error: Certificate contains the same serial number.

Hi;

 We are setting up several ASG-120's for a client with multiple small satellite sites. Instead of starting from scratch for each one, I setup the first 120 to a point, and then created a backup of the system, and uploaded that to the next 120, and so on.

Now when I try logging into them I can log into the first one and accept its certificate, but when I try logging into the second on, I cannot accept the certificate because the serial number is the same as the first machine. (I've used 2 separate computers, and logged into one machine on each computer, and checked the serial numbers, and yes they are both the same 00 : D4 : 01 : 4E : EF : 84 : 46 : 71 : 23)

I logged into the first machine and regenerated the web certificate, (Web Security -> http/s ->https ca's -> Regenerate) but I still get the same problem.

Is there a way to reset the certificate serial number..?

    I believe there was an issue with regeneration of certs under 7.402 ... the latest up2date (to be released Monday, according to posts on this board) is supposed to address this...

    HI;

    yes I changed the name on both. I'll wait till the new update and see if that fixes the issue.

    Hi;

    I just installed 7.403 and rebooted, then went to Web Security -> HTTP/S -> HTTPS CAs and did a Regenerate.

    I cleared all the current certificates from my browser, (Firefox) and then tried accessing the 3 Astaro's. I get the same problem: I can access the first astaro, I get asked to add an exception, which I do, and then I try accessing the second Astaro, and I get the original problem: "Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority." Ditto on the third Astaro.

    I can work around it, I just clear my certificates every time I try to access any of these three Astaro's, but it is very frustrating.
