AWG configured in bridge mode and HA

Hi,
I need to configure 2 AWG 2000 in bridge mode and HA, this because I want to control also Instant Messaging and P2P.
Considering that I have to position the the AWG between the LAN and the Firewall and that the AWG 2000 has only 2 interface how can I connect the 2 AWG for HA?
Thank you.

  • If you have a VLAN-capable switch, you can put the Internal and External connections on separate VLANs on one Ethernet port and use the other for HA.

  • Do you mean I can bridge 2 vlan interface on the same physical interface?
How should I configure the switch considering that astaro does not support vlan trunking?
The idea is to use the bridge mode to not reconfigure the default gateway.

    Cheers.

  • I just tried this.  I was able to create two VLANs on a single interface, but was unable to get the option to bridge them.  It doesn't appear to be possible to have two clustered AWGs in bridge mode.  Please submit a support request to Astaro, then share their answer with us.
