What I am trying to achieve is : Allow IM traffic (msn,skype and google) for my private lan and block it for DMZ
I am using 7.402 and I have IM/p2p enabled. I know that IM/p2p has higher priority than firewall and thus even If I allow the traffic via the firewall and block it via the IM/p2p,the traffic will be blocked.
I am trying different scenarios to achieve my goal. At the moment, I have no rules for IM but IM/P2P allows the traffic and thus msn is allowed.
I've tried blocking all traffic using IM/P2P and allow an exception for the private network. Is that the best way to do it?
