Hallo,
I have the following Hardware:
Intel D945GCLF2 Motherboard with Intel Atom Dual Core 1,6 with Bios 171
2 GB of RAM
1 Solid State Disk 3,5 " Mtron 64 GB
When I'm starting the machine, all works properly. But after a few minutes I can't get access to the web. It goes nothing traffic
Then I can access to the webadmin and I can see, that the cpu uses about 30 to 40 %, the ram-using is about 20 %. Then I want to restart the machine from webadmin. Nothing happens. When I have a look to the console, I can see, that the last command is: Sending all processes the ... signal. At this command the machine is staying all time. Only a hard reset can start the machine again.
After the second start, the machine runs und runs and runs. Please, can every body tell me, in wich logfiles I have to search for this error.
I have always changed the SSD against a 160 GB SATA Harddisk, but there is the same error. After the first boot the machine hangs after a few minutes, after the second boot the machine runs properly. When the machine runs, the cpu-using is 1 to 2 % and the ram-using is about 15 to 20 %.
Thanks for Your help.
Update: I have had a look to the processes with top, bevor the machine is crashed:
top gives the first screen and then goes nothing. The machine is dead.
Here are the results from top:
71% CPU httpproxy
61% CPU cssd
60% CPU named
36% CPU p-filter-reporte
31% CPU syslog-ng
26% CPU snort-inline
21% CPU confd.plx
10% CPU ndw-daemon.plx
That are the processes with the most cpu-usage.
Anay body an idea ?
Update:
I have seen, that the kapicd service has about 100 % CPU, when this service has 100 %, nothing happens. After a restart all is ok. Has any body the same problem ? The last bios is flashed (0171).
Best regards from
Egbert
