Is it officially supposed to work with 7.4? I seem to remember a thread last fall where we learned that the 2008 server had to be run in 2003 compatibility mode for the Astaro to be able to be joined to the domain.

I am currently in server 2003 mode as i have xp clients..also verified on the server it is in server 2003 mode.
I remember having trouble with things until I moved the Base DN down far enough. Now, I usually set it at "DC=Domain,DC=local", so I don't remember if that had anything to do with it. Are you able to authenticate a test user?
