Am I blocked or is there a problem???

the problem is, that the connection timed out
error="Connection to server timed out"

there is no content block or other thing. Please check you DNS Settings or can you check if you can open the site without the proxy

Usually the reason for this is that the server on the other end thought you weren't responding fastenough becasue you had hung up.  So, he hangs up, then you talk to him and finally notice he's not responding, so you say your "connection to server timed out."

Normally, this is handled by including the domain in an exception for 'Anti-Virus' and 'Extension blocking'.  It's the AV test that causes the Astaro to hesitate briefly, and some websites don't like that.  If that doesn't solve the problem, you might need to experiment with adding 'Content Removal', 'Authentication' and 'URL Filter'.

Well is would be nice is Astaro wouldnt display the "Blocked" page when its a connection error. As soon as my users see that they think I did it and blame me.

Its not a dns issue as i can connect everywhere else just fine.

The HTTP/S exception is already in place and the site has been working fine for a long time. (Authentication / Antivirus / Extension blocking / MIME type blocking / URL Filter / Content Removal / Certificate Trust Check / Certificate Date Check)

I went thru my logs and everything was fine up to 2009:03:09-09:17:57 then starting at 2009:03:09-09:20:58 and ever since the connection times out I guess.

Yet I dont like the fact that the Astaro logs it a "web request blocked".

I do know that the site is up and working as I can access it from home.

The packet filter is not blocking anything.

I tried accessing the site with the proxy off and still no luck.

What else might you suggest???

Have you experimented with puttting it it the transparent mode skiplist or is that what you meant when you said "with the proxy off?"

Disable/Enable DNS to flush the cache?

If you connect outside the firewall, can you access the site?

Thanks for your suggestions and help and sorry for the delayed responses as I have had other more pressing issues.

It turned out to be my cablemodem/router.
Seems it glitched out for the site and ONLY that site.

I connected my pc directly to it bypassing the Astaro (I knew the site wasnt down becuase I could connect from home via remote control) and the site still wouldnt load.

After rebooting the modem/router all was right again.

PS Would have rebooted sooner by that was the only site I had a problem. Normally at home everything goes down.

Was it a Linksys router?

No, it was Comcasts standard SMC for business.

I am very familiar with SMC as I used their 4 port box for internet back on our "dial-up days"
