Content filter update time

Hello world,

we know that Astaro (our version is 7.306) fetch from outside the categories to classify the web sites that clients require.

However we don't know often it synchronizes with the external source and if there is a way to do it manually.

There is someone that know this information?

    I can't specifically answer your questions, but I'll tell you what I found out when I did some minor testing back when the switch was made to TrustedSource back in September.
     
    I submitted category changes for several websites to TrustedSource.  It took from 1-4 hours for the changes to be added to the DB on their end.
     
    My astaro box, in all cases, didn't reflect the changes until the next morning.  Leads me to believe that Astaro updates at some time in the middle of the night.
     
    Another question you may want to ask is....If a manual update is possible, does the HTTP Proxy Service restart as part of the DB update process?
