Question about Virus Scanning v7

I was wondering if in version 7, do you see the download and scanning status of a file that is getting scanned as in version 6?

I was trying to test that theory, by downloading exe files of various programs on the web, and I do not see anything getting scanned, I just see the files being downloaded.  None of them are infected, I just was testing to see if they were being scanned.

The site I am testing from is not in the exception rule.

I can add the exe extension and then the file gets blocked, so I know Astaro is performing its duties, but I just wanted to know about the virus scanning engine.

    In V7.3, if the scanner takes less than a few (don't remember the exact number) seconds to scan the file, it doesn't throw up the banner.

    That would explain it, they were small files.  I just confirmed by downloading a much larger file and it triggered the banner.
