Hello all,
I've been doing some testing with the IM P2P Control on an ASG425a w/ 7.305.
Reason being is that one of my customers recently received a cease and desist from Sony re: several BT downloads. Now I know its relatively easy to tunnel BT over HTTPS and SSH. The IM P2P control in the ASG blocks BT traffic fine if the BT protocol is unencrypted. However, I can simply bypass the IM P2P control in the ASG if I turn on protocol encryption in my BT client (eg. uTorrent).
This effectively renders the IM P2P control useless in about 1-2 mouse clicks. I was wondering if someone could provide me some guidance in how I can effectively block BT in encrypted mode?
TIA,
j.
