I have a remote user (pptp) accessing a developing a Visual Studio web service that exists behind the firewall. The proxy is apparently changing the header of the authentication request such that the user cannot authenticate against the web service using the VS development environment. Since we have a DHCP server behind the firewall I can never be sure what his IP will be so I cannot easily exclude him from the proxy. I tried letting the ASG hand out the IP using the PPTP scope, but once connected the user could not get DNS resolution so I bagged that for now. Any suggestions on getting the proxy to not modify the header of the packets?
