Hi all,
Our Marketing Department recently purchased a contract with a firm called Constant Contact (Email Marketing Solutions from Constant Contact). This is a firm that allows a person to create emails and market them w/o having to tie up the bandwidth of the corporate network. I have added this firms IP addresses to the Web Security - HTTP - Exceptions portion of the Astaro box (ASG320 - 7.305) and have excluded everything (Authentication, Antivirus, Content, etc.). I can get to the site, I can create, test, preview, view the template, change the template, etc. I can do basically anything to the email EXCEPT edit it. The only thing that ever happens when I click edit is "Your email is loading. Please wait...". I've waited and waited and waited. It is a javascript app that is responsible for the editing, but they won't tell me what the engine or ports (if different) or anything else is. I've updated to the most current java and have tried this with IE6, IE7, and FF3.05. Their TS (Constant Contact) can only tell me to try outside the network and see what happens. And of course, it works just fine but leaves me w/o an answer on our corporate network. I don't find hardly anything with Google or on their web site that can point me to a solution.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a possible solution?
Regards,
Bob W
