I already have a cisco firewall (PIX515E), i am trying to use the astaro ASG220 just for testing in first place so i put it behind the Pix515E. Now, if i try to access the Internet through the astaro, the bandwidth is slightly slower than using cisco firewall directly, it is ok, no problem. Then i tried enabling content filter, then everything started to remind me of dial-up, slow and lot of images don't show even.
What i tried to do is access yahoo.com, i blocked all the traffic in content filter, and then i added some exceptions in the exception section (same place where microsoft update and apple update), i added yahoo.com, google.com...
In the first place., why it is becoming extremely slow, i have a reliable 512 Kb connection, and it is by far enough to browse yahoo.com fast ! In second what is the best way to filter by url: i want to block all, and allow some sites.
