HTTP Profiles

Are http profiles ever going to be by IP rather than user/group?  I don't use the user/group part of the product, don't even think I know how or understand how it works.  I'm guessing the user has to be authenticated before it can bypass the filtering engine, but not sure how that works.  I don't use AD or anything..just a home workgroup network.

It'd be easier if it was by static IP

    It has always been possible to create http profiles based on IP address for transparent or standard mode. 

    I see you started another thread where you said you were on 7.102, if that's the case there was an old bug where the global http profile was checked before the http profiles which may be happening in your case. To fix this either update to the latest version or set the global profile to a specific IP instead of the internal network or to a non-existant IP address and then configure your http profiles.
