virus scanning downloads question

What does this mean?
The item you have requested is being downloaded. Then you see the progress bar moving and all that and then a download link after it's done.
I get that from my Astaro box only sometimes when downloading from the net. I don't get it.

    If the HTTP proxy is enabled, the web browser will display the following downloader pages while downloading content > 1 MB in size and whose content type is no text or image. Note that the downloader page will not be displayed when video or audio streams are being requested or more than 50% of the file has been downloaded within five seconds.

    weird cus i dont understand that. at least part i dont get. also i rarely see the thing. so hmm.

    It has to do with system load and file size. 
    Depending on the how big the file size is and how fast it can scan it determines on whether or not you see that page.

    So if the file is small and the system doesnt have a load on it, you generally wont see the file.

    Its bascically a "Hey your file is being downloaded page, wait a second till its done" so you dont click the download link again thinking it didnt register the first time you clicked it.
