Blanket Exceptions for certain websites.

Is it possible to put an blanket exception to a website (for eg. http://*.google.com or http://*.microsoft.com) so that pages from any links (within this website) which maps to their own mapped servers/sub-domains does not pass through the content filters?

Currently while google/microsoft is under exceptions list, sites like maps.google.com / kh0.google.com / mt3.google.com and update.microsoft.com needs to be separately listed in the 'Exceptions'.

  • You're saying that you have listed 'google.com' and subdomains like 'maps.google.com' aren't included in the exception?

That's not how it's suposed to work.  Maybe you could show us a picture of the 'Exception' in Edit mode.

  • Wikimapia and Adobe Software Update [Allows Adobe Software Update without content scanning side effects.]
Skipping: Authentication / Extension blocking / MIME type blocking / URL Filter / Content Removal
    For:
    Target Domains
    adobe.com
    wikimapia.org
    maps.google.com
    wikimapia.com
    kh0.google.com
    mt1.google.com
    mt3.google.com
    mt2.google.com
    kh1.google.com
    kh2.google.com
    kh3.google.com
    accessdata.fda.gov
    debian.org
  • My understanding is that the exception is determined at the domain level, so you would cover all of the above with:

    adobe.com
    wikimapia.org
    wikimapia.com
    google.com
    fda.gov
    debian.org

Try that and see if you can still access the Google subdomains.
