Block by workstation...

Hi Fellas:

Is there an easy way to block by workstation?

I am using HTTP Proxy Profiles with eDIR SSO authentification.

I have two profiles setup:  

General Internet Access (Content Restricted) for the InternetAccess group

Research (not Restricted) for the Research group

I created a third profile and added workstations to it called Blocked Workstations.  No matter where I place this profile it seems to "break" internet access for all of my users (profile not found).

Is there a recommended way to do this?  I don't feel good about messing with Proxy Profiles with the unit in production!

    The http proxy is broken when it come to profiles. This was acknowledged during v7.300b testing, but the problem has been around for a while. I have another thread enquiring about a fix release date or version.

    I have sort of overcome the problem by creating extra profiles for each group. In effect my own default profile which then has the ASG default profile as last, basically so nothing ever gets to the ASG default profile.

    Ohhhhh, no wonder nothing is working...

    Can you give me some guidance as to how I could add workstations to a blocked profile as a workaround?

    The user groups seem to work but not the workstations...
